What usually goes wrong with a dental practice website

Five problems we see on almost every practice site we replace, and what each one quietly costs the front desk.

  1. The site is slow on the phone, where patients search

What it costs: A patient with a toothache waits two seconds, gives up and calls the next practice on the list.

  2. One services page lists twelve treatments in a row

What it costs: Nothing ranks for "crown near me" or "emergency dentist", and nothing on the page answers the question the patient came with.

  3. The insurance page is a strip of carrier logos

What it costs: Every new-patient call starts with "do you take my plan?" instead of "when can I come in?", and the front desk spends the call explaining.

  4. Booking is a phone number and a form that emails an inbox

What it costs: Evening and weekend requests sit unread until Monday, and some are never found at all.

  5. Changing the hours means calling the agency

What it costs: Wrong hours in search, a hygienist who left still on the team page, and a new-patient offer that expired months ago.

Every finding has a treatment

Each problem on a dental practice website has a specific fix, and every fix is included on every plan.

Finding: The site is slow on the phone where patients search

Static pages served from the edge, 90+ PageSpeed guaranteed

We hand-build the site to ship almost no JavaScript, compress every photo and serve the whole thing from Cloudflare's edge. A treatment page is readable before the patient has finished lifting their thumb, and we re-test every page after every change so it stays that way.

How this works

A booking request, one step at a time

From the search to the review, the website carries the new patient through, and hands the front desk a confirmation instead of an interview.

  1. Search

Found for the treatment and the neighborhood

A page for every treatment and every location gives search engines something to rank when a patient types "implants near me" or "emergency dentist" with your town after it.

  2. Page

    Opens instantly, answers the question

The first sentence under every heading answers it: what the visit involves, whether you take their plan, what it usually costs and how to book.

  3. Booking

The request lands where the front desk works

Reason for visit, insurance carrier and preferred times arrive in your practice management system or CRM with a notification, so the call back is a confirmation.

  4. Reminder

    Confirmed without a phone call

The patient gets an immediate message saying what happens next. On the Full Practice and Multi-Location plans the AI Engine handles SMS replies and reminders.

  5. Visit

    Arrives knowing what to expect

First-visit pages, pre-visit instructions and a link to your intake forms are sent with the confirmation, so the appointment starts on time.

  6. Review

A happy patient is asked while it is fresh

A review request goes out after the visit, and on Multi-Location we keep every Google Business Profile current so the practice stays easy to find.

Before and after, in the practice's own words

The same practice, the same front desk, a different website.

  • Before:Patients search "dentist near me" and find the practice down the road. After:Location and treatment pages rank for your neighborhood and your services.
  • Before:The site takes seconds to open on a phone. After:Every page opens instantly, 90+ PageSpeed guaranteed.
  • Before:Twelve treatments share one services page. After:A page for each treatment, from cleanings to implants, written in your voice.
  • Before:"Do you take my insurance?" is the first question on every call. After:The insurance and financing pages answer it before the call.
  • Before:Booking is a voicemail and a form that emails an inbox. After:Booking requests land in your PMS or CRM with the reason, carrier and preferred times.
  • Before:Changing the hours means calling the agency and waiting. After:Email the change and it is live within 2 to 5 working days.

What is included on every plan

The site, the booking tool, the domain, the hosting, the CRM connection and the people who run it. Nothing is an add-on.

The website, built for your practice type

Home, new patients, a page for every treatment you offer, a page per location and neighborhood, insurance and financing, team, gallery, contact and the booking request. Designed in your colors with your photography, on a structure built for your specialty.

Booking request form

Reason for visit, insurance carrier, preferred times. Pushed into your PMS or CRM and clearly labeled a request, not a confirmed appointment.

Your domain, free

A domain registered in your practice's name at no charge for as long as your plan is active, or your existing one pointed at the new site with DNS managed for you.

Cloudflare hosting, included

SSL, CDN, DDoS protection and unmetered bandwidth, with nothing itemized and no hosting invoice, ever.

CRM and PMS connection

Every request goes where your team works, by API, Zapier or Make, with new patients tagged separately.

Fully managed, every week

5 revisions a month with no size limit, done within 2 to 5 working days and requested from your client portal. Hours, team, offers and treatments changed by email or ticket.

Researched articles

2 a week on Single Operatory and Full Practice, 3 on Multi-Location, each 2,500 to 3,200 words, sourced, answer-first and written for patients deciding whether to book.

Speed

Fast on the phone in the school car line

  • Static pages, almost no JavaScriptThere is nothing to wait for. The page is HTML before the browser asks for anything else.
  • Served from Cloudflare's edgeThe site is delivered from the location nearest the patient, not from a shared server across the country.
  • Every photo compressed and sizedOffice, team and gallery images load in the right size for the screen that asked for them.
  • Re-tested after every changeCore Web Vitals checked on a throttled phone before launch and after each revision. 90+ PageSpeed is in the terms.

Ranking

Found for the treatment and the neighborhood

  • A page per treatment and per locationSearch engines rank pages, not practices. Each treatment and each neighborhood gets one worth ranking.
  • Structured data that names the practiceDentist, location, hours, treatments and FAQs are marked up so search engines read them, not guess them.
  • Answer-first copy and FAQ blocksThe first sentence under each heading answers it, which is what both patients and search results want.
  • Researched articles, 2 a week2,500 to 3,200 words each, on the questions patients search before booking, linking back to your treatment pages. We guarantee the site starts ranking locally within 3 to 5 months of launch.

How it works

Four steps, and the only one you pay for before launch is the first month.

  1. Pay the first monthly invoice

That is the whole commitment. No deposit, no build fee up front, no contract beyond the month.

  2. Fill in the onboarding form, then one call

The onboarding form takes about 15 minutes; anything missing can follow later by email or as a portal ticket. Then about an hour on a call to fill any gaps: treatments, insurance carriers, team, locations and how your front desk wants requests to arrive.

  3. We build, you approve

Pages arrive on a preview link as they are ready. You comment, we change, and the booking request is connected to your PMS or CRM and tested with a real submission.

  4. Live, then the build fee

The site goes live on your domain. Only when you confirm you are happy do we invoice the $797 one-time build fee. Weekly updates start the same week, requested from your client portal.

Three plans, one build fee after launch

Every plan is fully managed. Pick by how much of the front desk's work you want the website to take on.

What practices tell us after launch

Illustrative examples of the outcomes clients report. Verified reviews are added after launch.

Booking requests now land in our practice software with the reason for the visit and the insurance carrier already filled in. The front desk stopped playing phone tag to get that information.

Every treatment we offer finally has its own page, and the implant and financing pages answer the cost question before anyone calls. The calls we get now are from people who already want to book.

We changed our Saturday hours, added a hygienist and swapped the new-patient offer, all in one week, without logging into anything. It was just done.

Questions practices ask before the demo

What exactly do I get for the monthly fee?

A complete dental practice website, built for your practice type, with a page for every treatment, location pages, insurance and financing pages, the booking request form connected to your practice management system or CRM, 5 revisions a month, 2 researched articles a week, Cloudflare hosting, a domain and ongoing management. The Full Practice plan adds the AI Engine and the Multi-Location plan adds the Content Engine.

What do I actually pay, and when?

You pay the monthly fee for the plan you choose up front: $137 for Single Operatory, $297 plus AI usage for Full Practice, or $747 for Multi-Location. The $797 one-time build fee is invoiced only after your site is live and you have confirmed you are satisfied with it.

Are you a dental practice or a marketing agency?

Neither. GetDentalWebsite is a website design and management company that builds and runs websites for dental practices. We are not a dental practice, dentist or healthcare provider, we never give dental or medical advice, and the content on the sites we build is general information for patients, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan.

Can you connect the booking request to our practice management software?

Yes, where the software accepts external requests by API or through Zapier or Make, and to your CRM in every case. If your PMS is closed, the request lands in the CRM with a task for the coordinator and a notification to the front desk, and nothing is lost.

What counts as a revision, and what happens after five?

A revision is any change request you send, with no limit on how much goes into one. 5 are included every month. After that each additional revision is a flat $20, with no hourly billing anywhere. Every revision is completed within 2 to 5 working days.

Is there a contract or can we cancel any time?

There is no contract beyond the month. To cancel, email us at least 2 business days before your next invoice date, during business hours (9:00 to 17:00 Central, Monday to Friday, excluding US public holidays). A message outside those hours counts from the start of the next business day, so a weekend email does not give 2 business days of notice for a Monday or Tuesday invoice. With valid notice no further invoice is raised; with late notice the next invoice is charged and cancellation takes effect at the end of that month. If you cancel before the build starts, the build fee is never charged.
